This is a collection of notes, observations, thoughts and other relevant material built-up over a
period of time and maybe a result of a period of study, learning and/ or working experience. Its
purpose is to enhance your learning through the process o g thinking about your learning
experiences. The workbook is personal to you and will reflect your personality. Preferences
and experiences

OBJECTIVE
1. To provide a Tive 'picture of your growing understanding of a subject experience.
2. To demonstrate how the learning is developing.
3. To keep a record of the thoughts and ideas throughout your experiences.
4. To help you identify your strengths, areas for improvement and preferences
5. Provide regular feedback from the instructors and helps to match expectations
6. To deepen the quality of learning. in the form of critical thinking or developing
questioning attitude.
7. To enable leaners to understand their own learning process.
8. To increase active involvement in learning and personal ownership of learning
9. To enhance professional practice or the professional set in practice.
10. To enhance the personal valuing of the self towards self-empowerment.
11. To enhance creativity by making better use of intuitive understanding.
12. To free-up writing and the representation of learning.
13. 13 To provide an alternative voce for those not good at expressing themselves

WORKSHOP
1. Machining- grinding, parallel turning, face turning, stepped turning chamfer and
knurling.
2. Fitting – marking, drilling, cutting, filing, carving, thread with tap and die.
3. Welding – Shield Metal Arc Welding (SWAM), Oxy-Acetylene Gas Welding

IMPORTANT
1. Student must bring the Workbook during workshop session.
2. Student need to write down the task implemented for every week.
3. Student are required to send a completed workshop report sheet and send it to the
workshop lecturer on the last day of the certain workshop session
