SLAT CONVEYOR PG-30 BAY-1 SPEC’s

1. Design
The design will incorporate Supplier & Valmont’s accumulative
knowledge in PG-20 Slat Conveyor and best practices in One
Flow Technologies.

2. Machine Overview
Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Design. According to
ANSI/CEMA, NOM, IEC, for the design of the Motorized Slat
Conveyor, coupled with chains and activated with a gear motor
supported by cam followers or roller, on/off control with VFD,
including safety package according to ISO, OSHA Safety
Machinery Standard.

3. Technical Data
• Bed Speed – 0 to 100 IPM VFD Controlled, Reversible,
Overloaded Protection (Mechanical and Electrical)
• Pull-E-Stop in Both sides of the Slat Conveyor.
• E-Stop Synchronized with previous and next Roller
Conveyors and Burn Table PG-30.
• Capacity 15 Tons for 14' x 62' single plates or 2 x 7' x 62'
double plates (Thickness until 7/8")
• Table Size Width: 14' x Length 62' - 4"" x Height (3' to 4'
Adjustable)
• Gear-Motor with enough power to easily move 15 Ton Raw
Material plus all the Slats and Chains weight.

employees.
7. Paint
• Valmont Standard Blue for structural components with
• Valmont Standard Orange - for moving and sub-components

• Note: Use Valmont Color Code.

8. Safety
• The machine will be designed and built in compliance with
Valmont Global EHS Standards HS-05 Machinery Safety
Std, ANSI B11.19 and applicable OSHA safety standards
unless otherwise specified by the customer.

• The information below will be supplied at the time of
installation to the final customer.

10. Assumptions
• Customer will provide utilities (electrical) to the machine
location.
