SCRAP OUT ROLLER CONVEYOR (SKELETON).

1. Design
The design must incorporate Supplier & Valmont’s accumulative knowledge in Roller Conveyor
and best practices in One Flow Technologies such as Monterrey Bay 3.

2. Machine Overview
Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Design. According to ANSI/CEMA, NOM, IEC, for the design of
the Motorized Roller Conveyor, coupled with chains and activated with a gear motor supported
by SKF Pillow Block Bearing, Structural Steel, Jogging ON/OFF control with VFD Speed Control
with Open Loop, including safety package according to ISO, OSHA Safety Machinery Standard.

3. Technical Data
 Bed Speed – 0 to 600 IPM VFD Controlled, Open Loop for Speed Control, Reversible,
Overloaded Protection (Mechanical and Electrical)
 Electrical Protections for Current Overload and Over/Low Voltage and Phase Lost.
 Pull-E-Stop in Both sides of the roller Conveyor.
 E-Stop Synchronized with previous and next Slat Conveyors and Burn Table PG-30.
 Capacity 1 Ton (+25% Overloaded Protection) for scrap plate skeleton.
 Table Size Width: 6' - 6" x Length 43' x Height (5' to 8' Ascending & Adjustable)
 Gear-Motor with enough power to easily move 1 Ton Scrap Plate from Skeleton plus all the
Rollers, Sprockets and Chains weight.
 Roller with SKF Pillow Block
 Structural Steel for Roller Bed and Support Roller Bed.
 Power Transmission with Sprocket and Chain.
4. Capabilities
 Capacity 1 Ton (+25% Overloaded Protection) for Scrap Plate from Skeleton.
