How to Iinsert Headers and Page Numbers

[1.] To create a header, Oopen a new blank document and select Insert<Insert>

at the top of Microsoft Word.

[2.] In the Header & Footer<Header & Footer> column select the header drop

down and click the bank option.

[3.] When the Header is open the author can then select the Insert<Insert>

column to add dates and personal information.

[4.] When finished with the Header either Ppress ESC on the keyboard or select

Close Header<Close Header>.

[5.] When creating Ppage numbers first click Insert<Insert> at the top of

Microsoft Word.

[6.] Second sSelect Page Number<Page Number> in the Header &

Footer<Header & Footer> column.

1.[7.] A drop down will open which allows the author to choose where they

would like the number to be on the page.

[8.] Once the author decides where the number will go, Sselect Close Header

& Footer<Close Header & Footer>.
