HALF COLOURS AND FULL COLOURS FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Who qualifies for the award? Lower Six and Upper Six pupils who have sat Cambridge examinations in one sitting and at one centre. Where and when are they distributed? Term One Academic Awards Assembly. How are the recipients determined? Recipients will be determined based on their Cambridge International Assessment Education results. These must all be taken in one sitting and at one centre.
Criteria for IGCSE candidates:
The following point system applies: A* Grade = 2 points A Grade = 1 point Academic Half Colours are awarded to any pupil who achieves a minimum of 7 points and a maximum of 10 points. Full Academic Colours and a White Blazer are awarded to any pupil who achieves 11 or more points.
Criteria for AS candidates:
The following point system applies: A Grade = 2 points B Grade = 1 point Academic Half Colours are awarded to any pupil who achieves a minimum of 5 points. Full Academic Colours and a White Blazer are awarded to any pupil who achieves 6 or more points.
CHISIPITE CAMBRIDGE TOP IGCSE / AS AWARDS BY SUBJECT
Who qualifies for the award? Those Chisipite Senior School pupils in Lower Six or Upper Six who achieved the top mark in the November Cambridge Examination Series by academic subject. How are they determined? The Cambridge Assessment International Examination breakdown of results is checked by the Examination Officer and the Deputy Head Academics. Where and when are they distributed? During the Lower Six Form or Upper Six Meeting issued by the Head of Year. What is the Appeals Procedure? Parents and pupils can verify the award with the Deputy Head Academics.
