Greatest Love

When first falling in love with someone

Nothing can erase him from your mind
Warm fuzzy feeling invade your tranquil run
Like perennial shadow that stays to bind

How sweet the thought to love and to be loved

Heightened with mutual language of both hearts
Sealed by His image which will never depart
Soothing and comforting with pierce of many darts

The pure intention and promises you trust

Recall precious moments when both feel in love
Vivid images like mighty winds that gust
Of kindness sympathy, virtues from above

Imagine life together wrapped and clad

With joy contentment believing they will last
Staring at the future with hearts that are so glad
Traversing tomorrow with power strong and vast

When quivering hearts are quieted with plans

With hand-in-hand journey to reach the destined fate
The eyes of faithfulness pernicious thoughts she vents
And amplifies the care never to be late

But then reality comes knocking at your door

When transient parting goes inevitable
Hungering for moments of closeness more and more
Until the ghostly winds give away to life stable

The depths, the height the wideness of such love

Refused the tongue and language of mortals
To fathom such ultimate love descended from above
Aghast in awe viewing celestial portals

The zenith of its powers finally displayed

Visible splendid, constraining all to see
Vast sinister fruit of guilt and sin all paid
The middle torture stake mankind to be free

Tomorrow s glor land will soon come and appear

To claim all faithful children, how sweet to long and dream
I decided to be there with others who are dear
Are you anxious to live in the New Jerusalem?

Friends, brethren, and all who can hear me

This hope is not man-made but verity from above
Strive to be among the throng that will surely be
Included, accepted, saved by the greatest love
