This study aimed to understand the experiences of 14 grade 12 students in the Philippines who participated in a work immersion program. The students' experiences revealed themes of lacking technology, work experience, and communication skills. However, through coping strategies of positivity, time management, and teamwork, students gained insights like enhancing their skills, determination, and goal orientation. The work immersion helped students acquire hard and soft skills needed for their chosen professions through hands-on, real-life training experiences.
