Teks:

1. Suzan and Shane are sisters. They are Americans. Suzan is 16 years of age while
Shane is 23. They both live in two different countries. Suzan must study at Pharmacy
Academy in Spain and her sister has to work in Australia. Suzan speaks Spanish for her daily
language and Shane speaks English.

2. Dear Kevin,
I don’t live in England. I live in a town called Newport. It is in the south of Wales. It
has a population of 120.000 people. My school is in the northern part of the town. It has
many modern facilities. Near the school, there are shops, parks, offices, cafes, car dealers,
companies, a bus station, hotels and tennis and basketball courts.
At my school, a lot of students like football and basketball.
After school, they usually play Football and basketball in the field behind my school.
I don’t like football and basketball. After school, I go swimming in the swimming pool next
to the school canteen. I also join the School swimming team.
By the way, I live about 500 meters from school. I walk to school. I don’t take a
school bus. Then, there is a big company near my apartment. My parents work in the
company.

4. Because of the high demand for electrical power due to the extremely cold weather,
the city is facing a serious power shortage. We are asking residents to help us avoid
this situation. Please reduce your power consumption as much possible. Lower
household heat to sixty degrees. Turn off all unnecessary appliances. Postpone energy-
consuming task such as doing laundry.

5. Peter is the youngest in our family. He is fourteen years old and four years younger than
me. He has long, straight hair, bright eyes and a friendly smile. Sometimes he is rather
naughty at home, but he usually does what he is asked to do. Peter is interested in
sports very much, and at school, he plays football and tennis. For badminton, he is the
best badminton player in our family.

6. To All the Tenth Grade Students

All library books have to be returned on the twenty-second of December, 2023.

They should be covered with non-colorful wrapping plastic. Lost books must be
replaced with the ones of similar subjects.
Fine will be charged to the late return of the books. Students who have handed on all
books will get receipts that have to be submitted to the administration officers.
