during this period under review. Kebbi state is yet to record a single case since inception of
CRU.
Lagos, Anambra States and FCT-Abuja account for over 50% of total complaints received
(53.36%) from across the nation.
Phone calls tops the source of reporting complaint among all the platforms.

CONCLUSION
There was a sustained campaign across the electronic and print media to raise
CRU awareness among Nigerians in the period under review. Particularly,
enlightenment campaign about the Unit was carried out states in the South-
East via Townhall meetings in Enugu, Awka and Abakaliki as well as interviews
on local Radio Stations.
Generally, the overall complaint trend has shown a national decline in total
number of complaints received from across the federation in Q2 - 2016
compared to the Q1 – 2016 Report. This Unit believes is due to increasing
compliance of police officers in conducting themselves in the best profession
manner.
