ICT in Daily Lives

In your own experience, how do you use ICT in your daily activities? What are the
advantages and disadvantages of ICT to you?

Information and communications technology (ICT) is used in most of the fields such
as e-commerce, e-governance, banking, agriculture, education, medicine, defence and
transport.
For me, ICT is important to my daily activities, because with the use of ICT
devices I can gets information on the internet like news, uses to make communication to
other peoples. I use my smartphone to contact my family and also my friends. Another is I
uses to know the time and serve as alarm clock and use for researching online.

The advantages of ICT for me are to enhanced the modes of communication, another
is better teaching and learning methods, cost-efficient, Easy student managements, Minimize
cost and time, Automatic solutions to manual paper-based process and procedures.
Through ICT may have changed and more convenient, it also brought along privacy
and security issues, from email hacking, phone signal interception and more people are
worried that personal information may become public knowledge.
And the other pros and cons of using ICT advantages and disadvantages is the impact
of ICT, The individuals call this new era the ‘digital age’ because it allows for face-to-face
communication, digital learning has improved students learning, and individuals are more
socially engaged across various platforms. Rich and developed nations use ICT the best,
because they can access or use it more.
