• Mr. Creakle called him in to his office to tell him that his mother was dead.

3)What did Miss Murdstone tell David when she saw him holding the baby?

• When Miss Murdstone saw David holding the baby, she told him never to touch

• Because The factory was in a dark, damp and smelly warehouse which was
full of rats. The workers were rough and used bad language.

3) Why did Mr Micawber go to prison?


• He had to go to prison because he didn't have enough money to pay his debts.

4) What advice did Mr Micawber give to David?


• Mr. Micawber gave him advice based on his own hard life. He told David would
take his advice to try to save money for bad days.
