1.J2essica Ennis-Hill was born in 29th of January in '86 year in the UK.

She is known for


practicing heptathlon.

She began her international career at the Junior World Championships in Canadian Sherbrook,
where she was fifth in the Heptathlon. She took eighth place at the junior world championship (2004)
and won the junior European championship (2005.)

When she was twenty-six she won Olympic gold medal, and Olympic silver medal in 2016. Thanks to
her achievements at the end of the season, she won the European Athlete of the Year Trophy plebiscite
in the category of the rising star of athletics in Europe. Due to an injury, she did not perform at the
Olympics in Beijing. In 2009, she won gold at the World Championships in Berlin. The next season
began with winning the gold indoor world championships and improving the record of the event. At
the end of July, in Barcelona, she became the European Champion and a record holder of the
championship. At the end of 2010, she took second place in the European Athlete of the Year Trophy
poll, losing only to Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlašić.

In 2011, an ankle injury prevented her from starting in the European indoor championships, during
which the competitor planned to set the indoor world record in the pentathlon. She got injuries also in
2008 and 2013.

In 2016, who was hers last year, as an athlete, she won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio
de Janeiro. Due to the detection of prohibited substances by Tatjana Chernova, Jessica Ennis was
awarded a gold medal in the world championship in Daegu in 2017.

Now she is also famous because she's helps sport and hospital charities. She writes for a newspaper
too.
