Chen Long, born in 1989, is a Chinese professional badminton player. In men's singles, he won

1. Philip Joper Escueta


Philip Joper Escueta (born August 23, 1993) is a badminton player from the Philippines.
Escueta and his men's doubles partner, Ronel Estanislao, took bronze in the 2015 Southeast
Asian Games. In 2012, Philip made the full transition to men's doubles. He also represented the
Philippines in the Sudirman Cup, a world mixed team tournament

2. Peter Gabriel Magnaye de Jesus

Peter Gabriel Magnaye is a badminton player from the Philippines. He won the men's
doubles title with Paul Jefferson Vivas at the 2014 Swiss International tournament, and the
mixed doubles title with Thea Marie Pomar at the 2019 Sydney International.

3. Kennevic Asuncion

Kennevic Asuncion (born March 21, 1980) is a Filipino badminton player. He was born in
Barbaza, Antique and is the son of former Philippine Badminton Team Coach Nelson Asuncion.
He shares the court with his sister, Kennie Asuncion.
Asuncion competed in mixed doubles at the 2006 Philippine Open Grand Prix Gold. He defeated
Indonesia's Tri Kusharjanto and Minarti Timur 21-15, 21-10 in the semifinals before falling to
Thailand's Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thungthongkam in the finals.
He competed in the 2009 Sudirman Cup in Guangzhou, China, alongside other Filipino players
such as his sister Kennie. They performed well in the aforementioned mixed team
championships, defeating South Africa 1-4 before falling to Switzerland 4-1.He is currently
coaching the University of the Philippines and in the International School Manila' Badminton
Team.

4. Alvin Nitura Morada

Alvin Nitura Morada (born April 12, 1997) is a Filipino badminton player. He was
chosen for the Filipino badminton squad that competed in the 2020 Badminton Asia Team
Championships.

Alvin and his partner Aries Delos Santos finished second in the 2015 Iran Fajr International. He
also finished second to Peter Gabriel Magnaye in the 2019 Sydney International. At the 2022
Cameroon International, he won two titles in men's doubles and mixed doubles.
5. Conrado Co

Conrado Co is a retired Filipino badminton player who now works as a ranking official
for the Philippine Badminton Association. Conrado Co traveled to Hong Kong with his trainer
Sy Kim Piao in the early 1960s to watch his favorite players compete in an international
tournament. Later, Co decided to compete in badminton and competed in doubles with his
trainer-coach Sy at the Hong Kong Open Badminton Championship in 1963. Co went on to win
additional tournaments. He won 18 national titles, including the singles title at the 1963 National
Open, the All-Filipino Metropolitan Open singles title in 1963 and 1965, and 14 doubles titles
with three different partners between 1964 and 1969. and 14. Conrado Co won the doubles title
alongside Sy Kim Piao, Dany So, and Armand Yanga. Co was also a member of the Philippine
national badminton team that won the team event at the 1977 South Vietnam Invitational
tournament, as well as a member of the national team that competed in the 1962, 1966, and 1974
Asian Games. Co also won the Taipei Open doubles tournament in 1967. Co was also a member
of the Philippine national badminton team that competed in the Asian Badminton Championships

6. Paul Jefferson Javier Vivas

Paul Jefferson Javier Vivas (born May 26, 1991) is a Filipino badminton player. In 2015,
he reached a career-high ranking of 51 in men's doubles on the BWF World Ranking.In 2014,
Paul teamed up with Peter Gabriel Magnaye to win their first ever title at the Swiss International,
defeating Baptiste Carême and Ronan Labar of France.

7. Aries Delos Santos

Aries Delos Santos (born December 18, 1989) is a badminton player from the
Philippines. In 2015, he finished second in the men's doubles event at the Iran Fajr International
tournament. The following year, he competed for Egret Club in the mixed doubles event at the
Chicago Open, finishing third. He now works as a coach at Egret Badminton Club in Chicago.
8. Annelyn Alba

Annelyn Alba is an Iloilo, Philippines-based badminton player and trainer. In 2005, she
won the senior title at the Yonex Sunrise Philippine National Open Badminton Championships
with Rina Batuigas. She still competes in Open Categories in various tournaments and works as a
trainer with students and adults.

9. Amparo Lim
Amparo Lim is a Filipino badminton player who represented her country in the Women's
Singles event at the Summer Olympics in 1996. Lim was the first Philippine badminton player to
compete in the Olympics. She competed in the women's singles category at the 1996 Summer
Olympics but lost in the first round to Poland's Kataryna Krasowska by 6-11, 5-11.[1] She won
the women's doubles title with Kennie Asuncion at the 1996 Australian Open and bronze in
women's singles . The following year, at the Southeast Asian Games, the pair won a bronze
medal in women's doubles and became the first Philippine pair to reach the quarter-finals of the
Vietnam Open. Women's doubles event at the Open. Lim was appointed Philippine Sports
Commissioner in 2000 after Tisha Abundo resigned, and he served in that capacity until March
2002.

10. Alyssa Yasbel Leonardo


Alyssa Yasbel Leonardo (born 15 September 1997) is a badminton player who represents
the Philippines internationally. She competes in the quarter-finals of the Southeast Asian Games
Mixed Doubles 2019.
