Summary of Cinderella

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Cinderella, who was treated like a
maid as she lived with her evil stepmother and stepsisters. One day, an invitation from the royal
palace arrived inviting them to the Prince's evening ball. The ugly stepsisters made a fuss
making Cinderella do all the work hurriedly to make them beautiful even though she isn't
allowed to join the ball. As they left and Cinderella sat upon the fire wishing that she could join
the party, a lovely old lady appeared. She said that she was her fairy godmother and asked her
to get a pumpkin, six mice, a rat and six lizards and she turned them into a majestic coach. Then
she touched Cinderella's clothes into a wonderful dress with a glass slippers. She warned
Cinderella to leave the ball before the clock strikes 12 for the magic will end at midnight.

Cinderella arrived at the ball looking so magnificent that she caught everybody's
attention including the prince who danced with her through the night. She enjoyed the ball so
much that she forgot the warning of her fairy godmother. It was almost midnight and she
hurried out of the ballroom and went to the golden coach leaving her golden slippers. The
prince bowed that the woman who would fit the foot to the glass shoe shall be her wife. The
next morning, the prince's servant went to each of the houses with ladies to find the owner of
the glass slipper.

The feet of each lady were too big, fat, long or thin to fit the shoe until the servants
went to the house of Cinderella. The shoe did not either fit with Anastasia and Grizella.
Cinderella whom was locked up at the storage room was helped by her two friends, mice, to
open up the room. She then went to fit the shoe, unexpectedly, and everyone was speechless
when her foot fits at the shoe as if it were made just for her. Cinderella then married the Prince.
Everyone were invited, even her stepmother and stepsisters. In the end, they live happily ever
after.
