Mak : Good afternoon everyone! Hello partner!

Hazel : Yes. Good afternoon din, Mak!

Mak : Mukhang excited na ang lahat, ano sa tingin mo partner?

Hazel : I agree, partner. It has been a couple of years since we had

our last MNWD KWIN and finally, the search is on!

Mak : Tama ka diyan, Partner. Sa tingin mo, saan kayang team

color manggagaling ang mananalong MNWD KWIN 2018?
Will it be from the Blue Team?

Hazel : Or Will it be from the Yellow Team?

Mak : Will it be from the Red Team?

Hazel : Or Will it be from the Pink Team?

Mak : Will it be from the Green Team?

Hazel : Or will it be from the Violet Team?

Mak : Parang ayoko na ‘tong patagalin, partner. Pati ako nai-

excite na rin sa mangyayaring Search for the MNWD KWIN
2018 Pageant!

Hazel : Awat muna, partner! Hindi pa ‘to ang pageant.

Mak : Ah, hindi pa ba?

Hazel : Yes. I feel you too, partner. Maski ako ay excited na rin. But
before that much awaited Search for MNWD KWIN 2018, let
us first witness and be amazed by the talents of our lovely
candidates. Are you ready, partner?

Mak : Aba syempre, partner! E ang ating mga audience kaya?

Hazel : Ready na ba kayo, guys?

Hazel : Guests…

Mak : Colleagues…
Hazel : Ladies and Gentlemen…

Both : Good afternoon!

Both : WELCOME!!! To the MNWD KWIN 2018, Talent

Competition!

Mak : So to quench your thirst, each team have picked one

representative to compete for the title.

Hazel : You are absolutely right, Mak…this year’s candidates are

definitely best picked from each team.

Mak : Let’s not keep our audience waiting. To start with, may we
request everyone to stand for the National Anthem, and
please remain standing for the Invocation.

(National Anthem, Invocation)

Hazel : Please all be seated. To formally start our program, let us

all welcome our esteemed General Manager A, Mr.
Florencio T. Mongoso, Jr., CSEE, for the opening remarks.
Let’s give him a round of applause.

Hazel : Thank you GM Jun. Look at our audience, Mak, excited na

ata talaga sila.

Mak : Yeah, right. I’ve noticed that too.

Hazel : Iniisip siguro nila kung anu-ano ang mga pasabog ng bawat
contestant sa kani-kanilang talents.

Mak : Relax lang, guys. Darating din tayo diyan.

Hazel : Tama, guys. Now, this competition would not be official

without the meticulous and keen eyes of our judges.

Mak : That’s right, Hazel, So let us now introduce first our Board
of Judges and the criteria for judging.

Hazel : Our 1st Judge is a ________________. Let us all welcome

Mak : Our 2nd Judge is a ________________. Let us all welcome

Hazel : Last but not the least, our 3rd Judge is a

Mak : Our panel of judges are indeed well chosen.

Hazel : Yes, Mak. Our candidates will be judge according to the

following criteria.

Showmanship - 30%
Originality and Creativity - 30%
Mastery - 30%
Over-all Impact - 10%

Mak : Thank you, Hazel. Magtatanong pa ba ako kung ready ang

lahat?

Hazel : Sige nga?

Mak : Ready na ba kayo, guys?

Hazel : They are as excited as we do, partner. Kaya ‘wag na nating

Mak : Thank you, Candidate No. 1. Wow! Kumusta naman ‘yon

partner?

Hazel : I’m really impressed Mak.

Mak : You’re right Hazel. Ano kaya sa tingin mo ang talent ni

Candidate No. 2?

Hazel : Gusto ko na ring malaman, partner. So, may we call in

Candidate No. 2. Please give her a round of applause.

Mak : Thank you, Candidate No. 2. Totoo ngang talented ang

mga empleyado ng MNWD, ‘di ba, partner?

Hazel : Yes, partner. Alam mo kasi, MNWD Employees are known

for exemplifying Excellence and Quality Service. Kaya nga,
all of us always make sure to give our very best to be
excellent in any aspect of life and perform quality service
deserved by our dear stakeholders.
Mak : That’s true, partner. And we are all proud being a MNWD
Employee. Tama ba ako, guys?

Hazel : Definitely. So, may we call in Candidate No. 3. Please give

her a round of applause.

Mak : Thank you, Candidate No. 3. There you have it, our first
three candidates. I can’t wait to witness the talents of the
remaining three candidates, partner.

Hazel : Yes, partner. But before that, may we call in our Honorable
Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Jorge T. Palma
for a message. Please give him a round of applause.

Mak : Thank you, Chairman Jorge. Now, let us call in Candidate

No. 4 for his/her talent. Please give her a round of applause.

Hazel : Thank you, Candidate No. 4. Sa tingin ko may ipanglalaban

na tayo sa mga competition na ganito, ano partner?

Mak : Tama ka diyan, partner. Ang gagaling e. E ‘di sila na ang

magaling.

Hazel : Oo nga. Going on, may we call in Candidate No. 5. Please

give her a round of applause.

Mak : Thank you, Candidate No. 5. Ano naman masasabi mo

partner?

Hazel : Hands down para kay Contestant No. 5. I am really

impressed.

Mak : Tama ka diyan. We are down to our last contestant. So

without further ado, may we call in Candidate No. 6. Please
give her a round of applause.

Hazel : There you have it ladies and gentlemen, our six candidates
showing us their talents.

Mak : Let’s wait for the results. While the tabulators are busy
computing. Let us all first welcome the MNWD Dancers for
an Intermission Number. Please give them a round of
applause.

Hazel : Thank you, MNWD Dancers. By this time, I’m sure our
audience have their respective bets already. Sa tingin ninyo,
sino mananalo? Ikaw, partner?
Mak : Hindi ko alam partner, I’m sure nahirapan din ang ating
mga judges dahil lahat sila magagaling.

Hazel : Oo nga, partner. We really can’t tell. May we call on stage

Chairman Jorge, GM Ver, and Ma’am Cy to award the
certificates to our Honorable Board of Judges.

Mak : Let us first read the citation…

Hazel : Thank you, judges. The ranking for this Talent Competition
will play a big part in the Pageant Proper. The Talent
Competition will have a 20% rating on the overall criteria and
it will help the candidates move closer to the major titles: The
Second Runner Up, First Runner Up, and of course, our
MNWD KWIN 2018.

Mak : Tama ka diyan, partner. I’m sure excited na kayong lahat

malaman kung sino ang nanalo sa talent competition na ito.
But before the announcement of the result. May we call our
MNWD Karawat 2018 Chairperson, Ms. Maria Cyril A.
Caballero for the closing remarks. Please give her a round of
applause.

Hazel : Thank you, Ma’am Cy. Let us call on stage our lovely
candidates. Candidates?

Hazel : Thank you, ladies. Guys, hawak na namin ang mahiwagang

papel na naglalaman ng resulta sa Talent Competition na ito.
Ready na ba kayong malaman ang resulta?

Mak : Galing kaya ito sa Blue Team?

Hazel : Sa Yellow Team kaya?

Mak : O kaya naman sa Red Team?

Hazel : Will it be from Pink Team?

Mak : Sa Green Team Kaya?

Hazel : O baka sa Violet Team?

Mak : Pero bago namin tawagin ang top three, nasabi namin
kaninang magkakaroon ng malaking parte ang talent
competition na ito sa gaganaping MNWD KWIN 2018
Pageant. The winner of this competition, or the Ms. Talent
will have a head start of 20% on the pageant’s overall score.
The 2nd ranking contestant will also receive a head start of
15%, while the 3rd ranking contestant will receive a head start
of 10%. Our non-winners will also have a head start of 5%,
so there’s no need to be worried. So, that’s it!

Mak : Buksan mo na partner ang sobre. Excited na rin kasi akong

malaman.

Hazel : Drum roll, please! We will be announcing the top three in no
