32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) expected to be held at King of Cambodia at Morodok
Techo National Stadium. 32nd SEA Games it is scheduled to take place in Phnom Penh from 5 th
May to 16th May 2023. SEA Games is a biennial multi-sporting event which involving 11 countries
of Southeast Asia, it well known as one of the mega events in Southeast Asia. So how are they
doing so far? By looking at the potential impacts both positive and negative on this host city, use
academic resources such as the evaluations of the impacts of previous sports events such as the
Malaysia (2017), Philippines (2019), and Vietnam (2019) to underpin your arguments about how
cities deal with the aftermath of events of this scale.

It is important that you support your statements with appropriate references. While I expect a
minimum of seven academic references (book chapters or journal articles), you can’t have too
many references. Don’t use many direct quotes. Indirect quotes have two advantages over
direct quotes: they show you have understood what you have read and that you are able to
incorporate it meaningfully into your essay. In some situations, direct quotes are preferable; for
example, where the actual words used are difficult or impossible to paraphrase. In all cases,
quotes should be used to provide support for your argument. You should never quote just for
the sake of it.
