Good morning to you all - especially the

honorable judge,teachers and b my lovely friends.first of all,
Let me introduce myself.My name is Lubnaa Anwar,you can
call me just Nuna,Tenth grade,social sciences class in
Integrated Islamic Senior High School Gema Nurani. I would
like to tell you about My hobby is Cooking.
There are many activities I like to do in my spare time. However, cooking is
my favorite activity. It’s my hobby. Cooking would give me great pleasure,
especially if I managed to make recipes and received many positive
comments about my foods.

I cook almost every day, especially, when I feel like experimenting with an
entirely different kind of ingredients and spices. Often time, I cook when I am
trying to solve a problem; cooking can help me focus more on my issue.

I do not know exactly when I started to cook, but when I was little, I always
saw my mom cooking when she was preparing breakfast.She usually
show me how to make some food. Sometimes, I helped her in the
kitchen, such as slicing onions, cutting vegetables, grinding spices to make a
“bumbu” (seasoning), and I learned how to make an easy meal. I felt so proud
when my family said that my first cooking was delicious. Since then, whenever
I have a chance, I always cook for them.
My mom is an excellent cook, and I am fortunate to learn from her. She taught
me that to make delicious foods we do not need to add a lot of seasoning, as
long as we could put together the right amount of them.

For me, cooking is a therapeutic and an art, a form of self-expression through

the ability to mix the spices and ingredients to create extraordinary dishes with
a delicious flavor.And I suppose,some day,my this great hobby will help
increase my income because cullinary tourism is more and more interested.

Finally I’d like to thank the judges who has given me time to
have my story telling about My hobby is Cooking.And the
audience who willingly pay good attention about it.I hope you
all enjoy it.
