    Hoi An is an ancient town built in the 16th century.

    This is an ancient town located


    down the Thu Bon river, in the coastal plain of Quang Nam province. Hoi An
    Ancient Town was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1999. With
    its long history and ancient beauty, Hoi An has attracted many visitors from all over
    the world. Currently, Hoi An Ancient Town still preserves more than 1000
    architectural monuments such as roads, pagodas, houses, or ancient tombs, etc. When
    visiting Hoi An ancient town, you will admire the works. architecture is both artistic
    and imbued with national identity. Besides the architectural monuments, the bridge
    pagoda is a tourist attraction, built by the Japanese with 2 parts: the bridge and the
    temple. This place is not simply a bridge or a tinted pagoda, but it is also a meeting
    place of old villages, carrying in them dreams of a life of mutual affection. Hoi An
    ancient town also preserves cultural beauty through beliefs, customs and festivals.
