The Complex of Hue Monuments is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in the city
of Hue in central Vietnam. Hue was founded as the Vietnam capital city by Gia Long, the first
king of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1802. It held this position for nine Nguyen dynasties until 1945.

The massive complex features hundreds of monuments and ruins, such as the Forbidden Purple
City, once the residence of the royal family and badly damaged during the Vietnam War, the
Imperial City, royal tombs, flag tower, pagodas, temples, a library and museum.

The structures of the Complex of Hue Monuments are carefully placed within the natural setting
of the site and aligned with the Five Cardinal Points (centre, west, east, north, south), the Five
Elements (earth, metal, wood, water, fire), and the Five Colours (yellow, white, blue, black and
red).

Phong Nha-Ke Bang is more than a National Park, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located
in Quang Binh Province, north-central Vietnam.

Phong Nha-Ke Bang Park features a 2,000sqkm of limestone zone and an impressive grotto and
cave system with a total length of 70km. The park is home to the Hang Son Doong Cave, the
world's largest cave. Its biggest chamber is over five kilometres in length.

Covered mostly with tropical rainforest, Phong Nha-Ke Bang Park is one of the most important
eco-regions of the Indo-Pacific. Composed of 300 caves and grottos, Phong Nha-Ke Bang
National Park offers countless activities, amongst them visiting caves and grottos by boat as well
as mountain climbing and forest trekking. The park is huge and home to various interesting flora;
many endangered animal species still roam the area including black bears, tigers and elephants

Hoi an
Hoi An Old Town seems to aside from the busy development of the country. Here is also a rare
place where you can find an elegant blend of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture. 

Hoi An has been through a few centuries of history but still remains as in the very first days of its
being born. Its two main historical landmarks are the occupying of the Japanese & Chinese, and
the Western (Dutch and Spanish) during the 16th and 17th centuries. 

Tourists should not miss some of the great festivals of Hoi An, among which is Full Moon
Festival. It is held on the 14th of every lunar month, one night before the full moon, when the Old
Town becomes even more festive than usual, active and marvelously decorated with colorful
lights and lamps along every lane. Another one is the Mid-Autumn Festival – held on the 14th of
August lunar month

Imperial Citadel of Thang Long:

It is a complex of historic imperial buildings located in the centre of Hanoi, Vietnam. It was first
constructed in 1011 under the reign of Emperor Ly Thai To of Ly dynasty. The royal enclosure
was first built during the Ly dynasty (1010) and subsequently expanded by the Tran, Le and
finally the Nguyen dynasty. The ruins and relics roughly coincide with the Hanoi Citadel today
through an excavation on 22nd April 2021. It is an outstanding place of interest not only for the
capital city, but also for the country as a whole. The Citadel witnessed a series of dramatic
changes throughout the history of Vietnam and braced itself through a number of destructive
wars. The most notable part of the Citadel is the Central Sector, which was listed as one of the
UNESCO Natural World Heritage Sites in 2010. If you have a chance to pay a visit to Hanoi, the
captial of Vietnam, you should spend time visiting the building witnessing a number of historical
events of S – shaped country.

Trang An Landscape Complex:

Trang An is a scenic area near Ninh Binh, Vietnam renowned for its boat cave tours. On 23 June
2014, at the 38th session of the World Heritage Committee in Doha, the Trang An Scenic
Landscape Complex was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Trang An Scenic
includes Hoa Lu, Tam Coc - Bich Đong, and Bai Dinh Temple. Trang An is located 3 km south
of Hoa Lu ancient capital, 7 km from Ninh Binh city to the west along Trang An boulevard, 16
km from Tam Diep city in the north through Tam Coc. Trang An - Tam Coc zone has an area of
more than 6,172 ha, which is a special protection area of scenic spots. Trang An has two main
types of ecosystems: limestone mountain and aquatic ecosystem. The biological diversity of the
communities is a major factor contributing to the creation of these two ecosystems.

Ha Long Bay:

Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination in Quảng Ninh
Province, Vietnam. The name Hạ Long means "descending dragon". Administratively, the bay
belongs to Hạ Long city, Cẩm Phả city, and is a part of Vân Đồn District. The limestone in this
bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments.
Aside from the natural scenery that commands Halong Bay, other great attractions include the
floating fishing villages where the local fishing people can be found going about their daily
business. In 2000 Halong Bay was designated as an UNESCO World Heritage Site and in 2007 it
achieved recognition as one of the New7Wonders of Nature.
