A Content Management System (CMS)

Your content management system works behind the scenes to help you organize
and maintain parts of your website like your site pages and meta data, and it
makes it easier for visitors to find their way around your site.

SEO Basics
Optimizing your site so it appears in search engines is a must. With millions of
sites on the internet now in competition for a spot on the 1st page of search
results, you’ll need to follow a few search engine optimization (SEO) best
practices to get found.

Analytics Tools
You’ll want to know how people are finding your site, which pages they spend
the most time on, and how well different elements of your site convert. Google
Analytics is the most popular and easy to use resource, it doesn’t cost anything,
and it integrates easily with WordPress and some website builder tools.

Inventory Management
When you’re selling products on your site, you’ll want to make sure you keep track of
what you have in stock, what’s sold, and what’s on order.
Mobile Friendly Template and Theme
Your site will need to look great on all kinds of screens: laptops, desktops,
tablets, and especially smartphones. Choose a mobile-optimized or responsive
design so your site is fast-loading, easy to read, and easy to navigate on
phones, which are the way most web users search now.

Sections That Visitors Expect

Chances are that feeling of wrongness was because the site was missing some
elements you’ve come to expect: a home page that lets you know what the site’s for,
an about us section that shows there are real people behind the site, and contact
information so readers or customers can reach you if they have questions or feedback.

Media
It’s a rare site that can build an audience on words alone. Our eyes are naturally
drawn to images, especially if they move and make noise, and images are a
must if you’re selling merchandise online. People will also want to see a photo of
you in your about us section.

Social Media Links and Integration

You don’t have to be on every platform, but you should link your site’s social
media accounts to the site itself. Depending on how often you update, you may
want to include a widget that shows your latest posts.

Shopping Cart and Payment Tools

If your site includes a shop, you’ll want a reliable, easy to use shopping cart and
payment tools like PayPal or Square that are popular with most online shoppers.
Most e-commerce platforms integrate well with WordPress, and many website
builders can help you set up shopping and checkout tools in a snap.

3. How will you explain the main purpose of a web browser? How do we use it?
__Web browser provides the resources using the WWW (World Wide Web) this can be
identified by URI (Uniform Resource Identifier). Web browser uses hyperlinks to
display the resources and allow the users to navigate their browsers according to
the resources.
Web browser defines the application software that is designed for the user to access
and retrieve the documents using the Internet.
Web browser fetches the data like web page, image, video or other piece of content
from the server and displays it accordingly. Web browser is used to run the software
application that allows retrieving, presenting and traversing the information from
one place to another.

(Web 2.0 has mainly been about AJAX, tagging, and another front-end user-experience
innovation). Web 3.0 is a term which is used to describe many evolutions of web usage and
interaction among several paths. In this, data isn’t owned but instead shared, where services
show different views for the same web / the same data. Web 1.0 Personal web pages were
common, consisting mainly of static pages hosted on ISP-run web servers, or on free web
hosting services.
2. Discuss the significance of Netiquette in the web. What would happen if
there is no netiquette applied?
Netiquette rules are important as they promote communication skills, prevent
miscommunications, and help you understand what is socially acceptable when working and
collaborating online. Not allowing others to express themselves everyone is entitled to their own opinion and not
allowing someone their right to an opinion is bad netiquette. Not respecting people's privacy – It is deemed bad netiquette
to share any information about someone else online without permission to do so.

3. The emoticons of smiles listed below represents different emotions.

Examine one of each emoticon and explain where and when we can use
this type of smiley.
This emoticon is being use when you are trying to
tell to your chat mate pop or whom you’ve been
chatting through virtual that you are a bit upset or
being pissed off to what he/she said.
This emoticon simply saying that you’re crying or
sad over something. You will use this if you feel like
you aren’t okay.

A smiley emoticon, me personally I used this

emoticon in chat or text whenever I feel alright
during the day.

Laughing out loud or when you see a video that is so

funny and then this emoticon is a perfect reaction for
the response saying that you are so happy on
watching the video.
