 All types of industries can get water credits, below are the
scope of activities eligible for water credits

Following are the broad scope of activities eligible for acquiring water credits
(RoU)
RoU Measures which enhance the sustainable yield in areas where over-
Scope 1 development has depleted the aquifer.
RoU Measures for conservation and storage of unutilized water for future
Scope 2 requirements.
RoU Measures that improve the quality of existing ground water through
Scope 3 dilution with rainwater runoff.
RoU Measures that remove bacteriological and other impurities from
Scope 4 seawater*, sewage and waste water, contaminated water bodies or
unutilized water, so that water is made suitable for re-use and/or
recycling.
RoU Conservation measures taken to recycle and/or reuse water, spentwash,
Scope 5 wastewater etc across or within specific industrial processes and
systems, including wastewater recycled/ reused in a different process,
but within the same site or location of the project activity. Recycled
wastewater used in off-site landscaping, gardening or tree
plantations/forests activity are also eligible under this Scope.
 ROU-Scope 4 and 5 are required to be maintained below
information for water credit.
