Class description
· Class: English 6 for students at secondary school.
· Level: Elementary
· Ages: 11 years old
· Class size: 40 - 50 students
I/ Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Listen for specific information from a recommended TV schedule with about
85% correct answer.
- Interpret the information in the questionnaire about TV - watching habits.
- Write a short description of TV - watching habits based on the results of the
questionnaire and suggested structures.

- 45 minutes
V/ Anticipated problems:
- The speakers of school do not work properly.
The teacher needs to bring the bluetooth speaker to class.
- Some weak students could have difficulty in writing a description on their own.
The teacher assists them while they are doing the task.
- Students could not pay attention or not have motivation to write.
The teacher needs to go around and make sure that they are doing the
task and following the instructions closely.

And here are some interesting TV programmes for you. The musical Green,
Green Summer on Channel 1 starts at eight o’clock. At the same time on
Channel 2 is The Red spotted Squirrel. Home and Garden follows at eight
twenty-five. Today you’ll learn how to make a house for your dog. Channel 3
offers you a touching film of friendship, The Lonely Giraffe. The film starts at
eight thirty. After that, you can discover the famous old town of Inca in Peru.
However, it comes on quite late, at ten o’clock. We hope that you can choose
a programme for yourself. Enjoy and have a great time.
