1. Get the attention of the urban woman.
2. Engage the urban woman in a conversation about laundry and the brand.
3. Drive relevance of the brand and as a result sale.
Justifying Ariel’s campaign objective in light of our understanding of communication objective,
we can say that Ariel’s campaign objective was aimed at communicating their idea that women
are not only responsible for doing laundry. Laundry as an activity can be done by anyone easily,
even by men. Through their campaign they wanted to of shape the traditional attitude of urban
Indian households
