Properties and Uses
G-10 is suitable as a binder for emulsion paint for Roof and wall, and makes high-gloss film.
G-10 forms a film which has excellent weathering resistance and fast drying.
Film’s alkali and water resistance are also excellent.

How to Use
Minimum film-forming temperature (MFT) is approx. 25 °C.
When it is used at normal temperature, the MFT should be lowered by adding coalescing agents
such as Texanol, Butyl cellosolve, Butyl carbitol acetate and Dowanol DPnB.
Coalescing agents should be chosen considering water solubility, evaporation rate, stability and so
on.

Handling and Storage

As G-10 dries to a water-insoluble film, it should be kept in a tightly closed container.
When the emulsion has formed a film, it should be removed by filtering or other means.
G-10 sticking on the tools or apparatuses but not dry yet can be easily washed off with water. When
it has dried, wet it thoroughly with warm water before washing in water.
G-10 is advisable to storage in the shade, preferably at 5 ~ 30°C. Storage in the sun may cause the
emulsion to form a skin even if the container is tightly closed.
