In my opinion, children find it difficult to maintain their attention and
concentration on a task, especially when it comes to a school task. Attention, however, is a skill that can be practiced at home, not only in the school environment. If you want to attract a child's attention, you must first capture his interest. We are all aware of something. However, what exactly attracts our attention and how long we can maintain our focus depends on the person. There are two types of attention, one global, open, when, for short periods of time, we pay attention to different aspects of the environment. The second type of attention occurs when you manage to keep your attention on one thing for a long period of time. A method of attracting the attention of a class or a child is clapping at different times this method stimulates self-confidence and children's attention increases, this method of attracting attention can be used for children up to 12-13 years old. Colourful visuals are essential for attracting children's attention, especially younger ones 4-7 years old. Children's perception of colour is not only different from that of adults. Children's perception of colour is special, incomprehensible to adults, but very accurate in reality, although children do not have enough words of the language to describe it. Simon Says is a children's game for three or more players, the ability to distinguish between genuine and fake commands, rather than physical ability, usually counts in the game; in most cases, the action just needs to be tried. This game stimulates attention and can be played by people with maximum developed auditory attention and good thinking ability, therefore the game is played by people from 8 years old and above. In conclusion, attention exercises for students are important because they stimulate attention and critical thinking by being focused on a single objective this being beneficial for the future because the students will learn how to be focused on a specific objective.
