Wakening the Inner Shakti (Supremacy) the Goddess:
Energizing the Divine Feminine Power in the Light of True Consciousness
By Dr. Satabdi Roy Choudhury
Writer, Assam, India

Awakening of Inner Goddess

Illumination, Wisdom, Strength, and a step towards Liberation, Growth and finally Breaking
the Loop is how we can highlight the inner ‘Shakti’ of us. This vibration of inner shakti creates
life and experiences, which becomes the center of our controlling rudder.

The Omni-Presence of Opposites

This world where we live our lives and have our life experiences is made up of two opposite
energies. Male energy is forceful and active, and female energy is receptive and still. We as
nature’s child move between these two dualities and constantly try to maintain a balance
between these two opposites. At this juncture, one must understand that feminine energy is
important for one’s self-awareness, physical health, and overall joy of life. Anyone who wants
to accommodate this feminine energy in his own body has to shed half of himself and include
another feminine half. As we all know the story of ‘Ardhanarishvara’, once Lord Shiva wanted
to share all his experiences with Goddesses Parvati. As Parvati insisted to feel the ecstatic state
of Shiva by herself, Lord Shiva accommodated her on his left side. Both Parvati and Lord Shiva
became one and this became ‘Ardhanarishvara’ Deity (Almighty), the symbolism of ultimate
masculinity developed his one-half portion of the body as a fully developed woman (Isha
Foundation, 2014). From this story, we can conclude that Ardhanarishvara is a symbol of two
energy- Purusha (the male) and Prakriti (the female). Purusha was the source of creation and it
became perfectly settled into the source of reception or Prakriti. Thus, the basic rule is that
evolution takes slowly when life is called feminine energy or shakti. Hence, we can realize that
the divine feminine principle is the executive force that sets the direction of evolution, whereas,
the divine masculine principle is the executive force that follows through on that direction
(School of Institution, 2014).

What is Shakti (Feminine form of Energy)?

The above-mentioned ‘Shakti’ is a spirit of an awakened woman, who is the ‘Paripurna’ (Full
Knowledge of Who She is). She is the awakened woman who is full of Strength, Creativity
Insight, Confidence, and the epitome of beauty. A Shakti in herself knows ‘Her-Value’, ‘Her-
Grace’, and ‘Her-Worth’, who is ready to receive all love and ready to give her pure divine
energy to her surroundings. A shakti is not afraid to speak the truth, connect with her other
sisters to lift each other, and encourage the best version to stand in her divinity (G. Maric. K,
2017). The Goddesses are on the rise, and to rekindle our feminine energy, we must connect to
our soul level. Some of the universal gifted steps are-

1. We are the Beauty- Believe the truth, we are beautiful. Nurture yourself with love, care,
lovely music, and flowers. Adorn your life with the light of sunshine and moonshine.

2. We are Appreciable- Slow down and breathe a little. Stop and look at the mirror we are
inspiring, we have the healing presence, we are having the ability to do multi-tasks, we have
the power, we have the freedom. Appreciate the divinity within us, full of joy, love, and
happiness.

3. We are Connected- Ladies we are connected with the universe. It is our dormant (hidden)
energy that our every thought, word, actions are alive. Hence, wealth, relationships, knowledge,
health, and beauty reside within us. We just need to re-energize to connect our deeper spiritual
truth.

4. We are Self-Reliant- The word ‘Shakti’ is the personification of our inner strength. As a
female, we are having the feminine energy which is unbeatable. We have the power to defeat
the demon residing within us and others. Hence, we females are holistic. We can create, we
can nurture and we can destroy as well.

5. We are Fitting -Together- Ladies, we are connecting with our soul and realizing our female
energy. With each increment of energy level, we are entering the state of receptivity and
stillness. This stillness allows us to run our feminine energy throughout our body and its
vibration into our soul.

Once, we are open up to accepting the truth, we will change for good. But the life we are leading
is not calling for the immediate abandonment of our ongoing habits. We should strive for
knowledge, the knowledge which leads to strengthening our resolve and fortitude.
Toning of Our Souls with Mother Universe-
Today the word ‘Goddess’ becomes a very common day-to-day name. This may be due to the
extreme male dominance in society. This dominance has brought much imbalance, loss of
harmony, and up to some extent ruin to the existence of female order on the planet (Nandy. S,
2021). As with every powerful transformation required to face the extreme darkness, similarly,
we females have gone through many mayhems where we have kept subordinates in several
ways as discrimination, disregard, insult, control, exploitation, oppression, violence within the
family, at the workplace or society at large. But with time, many advancements are met by
women. Though women are facing many challenges today also, we are learning to be strong
and breaking the stereotypes. It is this feminine energy that is manifested in her physical
embodiment.

While, women are reaching everywhere, doing pretty good in almost every field and giving
better competition to men. Whether building a business empire or running a country. The
current achievements and popularity of women are proving the old cliche “what a man can do,
women can do better (Gopal, 2021). Today, feminine energy is responding globally. The
feminine power is rising into consciousness as humanity has been programmed to fear the
feminine power as associating it with her dark side. As we travel thru the timeline, we can get
many such burning examples where feminine energy mirrored the true nature of the mother
universe. Such feminine power can be pictured as-

‘Farida Abbas Khalaf’, is one of the 6500 Yazidi Survivors of

ISIS Enslavement and Genocide. She was born in Kocho-Sinjar,
Northern Iraq. She was a High School student when ISIS
attacked her village, killing men and taking women and children
as their hostages. Farida was held in captivity for four months
where she was subjected to unimaginable suffering including
physical and mental abuse. It is at this juncture her true inner
Queen Goddesses was awakened. Farida since her escape has
been an effective part of the Yazada Global Advocacy
Campaign to bring ISIS militants to Justice, raise awareness,
bring international attention to the Genocide (Women Forward
International, 14th December 2019)

The Life Story of Mother Teresa is that real motherly

consciousness. She had a significant impact on the holistic
well-being of poor people. She had received many peace
awards Ramon Magsaysay Award, 1962, Nobel Peace Prize in
1979, etc., for her struggle to overcome poverty and distress.
Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani Activist for Female Education and
also Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. She is known for human rights
advocacy, especially the education of women and children in her
native Swat Valley in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa, where the extremist
group called Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan had at times banned girls
from attending school. Her support for education for women had
again international movement.

A social activist turned Politian who is best recognized as the

founder of Narmada Bachao Andolon (Save River Narmada). She
is a well-known name and an active member of the welfare
movement from India.

Chanda Kochhar, a 53-year-old Lady is the Managing Director and

Chief Executive Officer of ICICI Bank. She is the epitome of
modern feminine energy being the role model of many women
working in various commercial industries. She had received and win
several recognitions and as per Forbes Magazine, she is the world’s
43rd most powerful woman.

Taslima Nasrin, A Bangladeshi- Swadeshi Writer, Physician,

Feminist, Secular Humanist, and Social Activist. She is known for her
writing on Woman’s oppression and criticism of religion. Some of
her books are banned in Bangladesh and had been also banished from
her own country. She gained global attention during the 1990s owing
to her essays and novels with feminist views and criticism of what she
characterizes as “Misogynistic Religion”. At present, she is staying in
India.

Lady Gaga, Powerful, Social Activist, Successful business women

and Philanthropist. A woman spreading awareness on mental health,
women existence and gaining own popularity.
Attuning to the above feminine archetype that creates space for archetypal Goddess Queen, we
can say that the mother universe is sending an instruction to her daughters on Earth. The lost
feminine power is being restored and updated for next time (Shift Frequency, 2014).

Acceleration of Feminine Fury

International Women’s Day Celebration at Women’s Club, Silchar, Assam, India

‘Feminine Fury’ terminologically means Extreme Strength or Power. That is the Feminine
energy through which one can manifest and create the magnetic effect. The effect of feminine
energy is very different from masculine energy. Its awakening is not at all related to willpower,
attaining the saint-hood, or doing meditation year after year. It is about flowing with nature,
being receptive, and connecting to the source energy very deeply. We as ignorant try to connect
with our feminine energy by preparing ourselves to be equal to males. We try to step out of the
house, try to get a job or set up a business and ultimately push and set goals. But dear ladies,
feminine energy is not proving to the male counterparts about your strength.

Both divine masculine and feminine energy exist in all beings of nature. This means that despite
our gender differences as we call it on earth, both energies (feminine and masculine) are
existing within us. They just might not be evenly balanced. Too much masculine, we get
aggression and domination; too much feminine we get disempowerment and stagnation. The
energies of the feminine embody the nurturer, the healer, the compassionate, and the
peacemaker. The qualities of our discussion of the divine feminine can be seen throughout
many religious and spiritual traditions. We have ‘Shakti’ in Hindu Mythology and Venus in
Roman Mythology etc. This tradition says that divine feminine is soft but fierce, when
necessary, as well as loving and supportive (Regan. S, 2021).

As, in the world dominated by masculine energy, more and more people today are looking to
tap into the divine feminine energy. Therefore, this is what we can actually call the acceleration
of feminine fury is all about. This acceleration is needed to set the balance in our life. Hence,
it is very much necessary to maintain the balance of feminine and masculine energy. We should
bow down with respect and love in our hearts to universal motherhood. Such love will direct
us to access the inner goddesses.
