From my perspective, there are several methods to promote traditional crafts.

One effective
method is to collaborate with local artisans and provide them with platforms to showcase their
work. This can be done through organizing exhibitions, craft fairs, or even creating online
marketplaces specifically dedicated to traditional crafts. Also, it is useful to teach craftsmen
more about social networks and technology so they can make their products more accessible to
everyone, especially foreigners. Another way is raising awareness about the significance and
value of these crafts among the younger generation. This can ensure students’ appreciation about
the importance of preserving cultural heritage. Teachers can incorporate traditional crafts into
school curriculums, invite local artisans to share their knowledge and expertise with students and
design hands-on activities that allow students to learn and practice about making crafts. By
actively engaging students in the process of creating traditional crafts, they can develop a deeper
understanding and connection to their cultural heritage. Last but not least, professional handicraft
workers can open vocational training classes for others. These classes can provide valuable skills
and knowledge to aspiring artisans, helping them learn the techniques of traditional crafts and
expand the market for handicrafts. In short, by following these strategies, traditional crafts can be
definitely promoted.
