TYTLE
Thinking and acting in school and educational territories

CONTENTS
-School strategies for training young people to exercise citizenship.
-The potentialities of the various territories as educational spaces and of
intervention of young people.
-The importance of exchange networks between formal, informal and non-
formal education.

METHODOLOGIES
-Visit to the Youth House of Vila Nova de Famalicão and interviews with the
Councilwoman of Youth and the Councillor of Education.
-Sharing of the dynamics of the GIVE project, voluntary interpairs Study Group
of the AECCB, winner of the quality Seal of the competition
"Child-friendly School" of LeYa Educação. Foreign students will be integrated
into mentoring strategies and peer education with the volunteer students of
GIVE (secondary school students), with younger students (elementary school
students or lower schooling years).
- Workshops - Social innovation workshops. In a partnership between the teams
of the Local Social Development Agreement – CLDS 3G, YUPI and the Camilo
Castelo Branco School Group, the students will perform workshops on social
entrepreneurship, in which young people are encouraged to seek creative
solutions to persistent problems of organizations and to become more involved
in the lives of local institutions, through greater awareness, volunteering or
cooperation.
-Creation of a procedures guide for all partner schools to adopt the
multidisciplinary/Extracurricular" Passport.
- EuroSchool session.
- Debate Club: Preparation and voting of a final recommendation project, that
aggregates the most relevant information and conclusions of the project and
the structured debate "youth and politics" as well as presenting concrete ideas
to foster the political participation of young people and citizens in general, at
school, in the local environment, in the country, in Europe, in the world, to send
to policy makers in each country at the various levels presented.
- Presentation of the draft recommendation at the Meeting of the Town Hall or
Municipal Assembly of Vila Nova de Famalicão.

RESULTS:
- Training of all participants on the institutional policy networks and the political
mechanisms.
- Training of teachers to educate politically, and of their students to learn from
teachers and other agents, to make selflearning and to be disseminators in their
families and communities.
-Empowerment of students in the construction of an opinion, definition and
support of positions, for the construction of a social
being more involved with realities, a transforming agent.
eTwinning
-Vote on Euroschool themes.
-Creation of the Euroschool committees.
-Preparation of the Euroschool work.
-Presentation of the recommendation project of each school.
-Dissemination of activities carried out in physical mobility.

-Facilitation of work before each LTTA and all the dynamics that succeed.
-Articulated vision of the entire project, combining the virtual and the physical.
-Development of the school education of the Future, changing learning
environments, including the use of digital tools and the teaching and learning of
21st century skills.

European citizenship based on the use of multilanguage competences and
online communication and cooperation platforms.
-Encouraging creativity and innovation at all levels of education and training.
-Implementation of work strategies that imply a strong commitment between
the parties involved.
-Learning the creation of cutting edge e-Learning content.
-Use of the European mobile and digital dimension.
-Use in a collaborative way and network of European digital platforms as
promoters of innovation and creativity and sharing of good practices.
