ENHANCED SCHOOL
IMPROVEMENT PLAN
(ESIP)
School Years 2019-2022

School Improvement Plan i

MESSAGE (OPTIONAL)

The state of the school is getting stronger. We able to deliver the

educational services of the school to our learners and to their
respective community as well, embarking on the school tagline:
ABNHS: We Make It Happen!
We able to accomplished and exceed our performance as
projected in our School Improvement Plan 2016 – 2019 as shown in
the results of the Quarter SMEA in comparative presentation S.Y 2016
– 2017 and 2017 – 2018.
My two predecessors laid the strong foundation of the school.
They ignite the common goals in achieving the different objectives,
targets and projection of the school. Mrs. Josephine M. Tañola’s
selfless efforts in establishing the full operations of the school and
marking it as another vanguard of democracy and opportunity in this
Highly Urbanized City of Tacloban. Her leadership manifested
eagerness to serve the community in any circumstances as long as
this school children will be provided with quality, inclusive, dynamic
and promising education.

Mrs. Liezel Pulga’s dynamism paired with vision of stability

paved way to anchor all school processes into the principle of
continuous improvement. She remarkably laid the corner stone for a
renewed ABNHS, promising yet decisive in attaining its goals towards
excellence.
Our journey is still uncharted. We need to move on, accomplish
more, and serve best. As your school head I need your rallying loyalty
and commitment to ABNHS, to his noble purpose to his glory, together
with the 23 teaching and non-teaching personnel who were
competent, dedicated, service-oriented, and vanguard of justice and
peace, no doubt that we can make it!

This 2018 School Annual Report is our humble gift to the future
moulders, builders, sparkles and walkers of the country; ultimately
realize all the promises of what our country will become.

To the Schools Division of Tacloban City headed by Dr. Thelma

C. Quitalig, CESO V, thank you for the commitment to ensure
education accessible and inclusive. With all the functional divisions of
the SDO Tacloban. Thank you very much for the parental and
technical assistance to ABNHS. You were all part of its successful
endeavours.

School Improvement Plan ii

As your steward of this institution I will remain loyal to
excellence and to be in cadence of providing opportunities to all. I will
not stop working, thinking and rethinking for the welfare of all the
clients of the school. To end, allow me to express my continued
commitment in this biblical passage from the words of prophet
Zechariah: “Do not despise this small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices
to see the work begin.”

Mabuhay ang ABNHS, mabuhay ang mga batang Pilipino!

A. Project Work Plan & Budget Matrix

In this Section, present the List of Solutions for the identified root causes.
These identified solutions are those that have satisfied the criteria provided
in Step 5 of the ESIP Guidebook (page 23). Present a matrix containing root
causes and corresponding solution.
Attached copies of the Project Work Plan and Budget Matrix (Annex9)
prepared for the identified solutions. One project work plan per solution,
which contains the following information: problem statement, project
objective statement, activities, and output.

B. Annual Implementation Plan (AIP)

Another important document that will be attached is the Annual
Implementation Plan (Annex 10) for Year 1, the SIP’s operational plan. It
contains specific projects that will be undertaken by the school in a
particular year, which include the following: outputs, activities, schedule,
required resources, source of fund, and the individuals accountable for the
conduct of these projects. It also includes operational cost such as but not
limited to utilities, supplies and materials, etc. that are considered eligible
expenditures in the existing MOOE guidelines.

The preparation of AIP is by Fiscal Year (Quarters 1 to 4) plus additional

Quarter 1 of the following year to ensure that all activities from January to
March will be planned, which is based on the amount of monthly MOOE.

implementation period depending on the timelines set by the Project Teams. P
In longer projects, the SPT will have to monitor more than twice. T
Schedules of monitoring must be indicated in the suggested Project E
Monitoring Report Form (ESIP Guidebook, page 29). To help inform the
SPT of the status of their projects, the Project Teams will submit their R
respective progress reports using this template.
Attach the Project Monitoring Report Forms of all projects for Year 1 AIP, 4
which contains the following information: names of project, project
objectives and targets, and the proposed dates of monitoring.
