EMPLOYEE RELATIONS POLICY

POLICY STATEMENT
ROHA is committed to ensuring that:

• Its workplaces are ones in which employees are valued


• All employees are able to work in an environment where they are treated with courtesy
and respect and are afford fair treatment from both the Company, management and
fellow employees

• It provides a safe and productive workplace free from all forms of harassment,
discrimination and bullying for all employees

• Ramifications for violations of workplace and employee relations rules are clearly
defined

PURPOSE or OBJECTIVE
The purpose of the policy is to set out general requirements for the workplace and relations
between employees and to make clear the consequences of employee non-compliance with
this and other policies related to the workplace environment.

APPLICATION & SCOPE


This policy applies to every employee, casual/temporary labour hire employee, contractor
and individuals who conduct work on behalf of ROHA. This policy applies:

• at the workplace;
• when employees are working for ROHA away from the workplace;
• when employees are using ROHA vehicles; and
• when employees attend events on behalf of the business or social functions
arranged by the business.

On entering the workplace, visitors, clients and customers of ROHA will also be required to
comply with this policy.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Workplace Policies

ROHA will have policies that cover issues related to workplace environment, such as
smoking, alcohol and drugs, workplace behaviour towards others etc.

In addition to the policies referred to above, the following general requirements for the
workplace and relations between employees will apply:
• All ROHA employees must act in a professional manner consistent with their position.
This requires them to take care in the discharge of duties and to adopt personal
standards that do not in any way reflect adversely on ROHA, detrimentally affect their
ability to perform their duties, or create a safety risk in the workplace
• In all matters pertaining to recruitment, promotion, transfer to another role,
administering the employment contract between an individual and the Company,
patronage and favoritism are unacceptable

3. Adherence to Company Policies

All ROHA employees are required to adhere to all policies published for the business and
to comply with all lawful instructions of the management.

Breaches of Company policy and instructions related to the workplace, employee relations
and the role for which the employee has been engaged may result in disciplinary action
under Company policy ‘Managing Underperformance & Misconduct’.
