Instruction for obtaining the service “Invitation of a foreigner” for

individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


To receive the service, you must have an EDS (electronic digital signature) and be registered on
the Visa and Migration portal.
After entering the portal, go to the “Services” section.

On the page “Portal Services” choose “Invitation of a foreigner” (Pic. 2).

Next, fill in the information about the visa and the location of a foreigner - the fields “Your visa
type”, “Visa multiplicity” and “Citizenship” (Pic. 3).

ATTENTION!
For legal entities on the portal it is available to submit an application for an invitation to a
foreigner for visas categories Business B1, B2, B3 (Pic. 4).

For individuals, it is possible to submit an application for the invitation of a foreigner to the
category B10 Private.
Obtaining a visa by invitation of category B10 Private is possible only in Foreign Offices of the
Republic of Kazakhstan.

When you select the citizenship, under this field, you can see a notification window with the
following message: “Citizens of the selected state are exempt from the need to present an invitation
when applying for the selected visa category”- in this case, the "Issue invitation" button remains gray;
«For a foreign national it is available to receive the e-visa on vmp.gov.kz» (Figure. 5).

After filling in these fields, click “Issue invitation” button - go to Step 1 “Data about the
foreigner”.
In the opened form, fill in the fields marked with * (mandatory to fill in).

ATTENTION!
Fill in the data about the foreigner strictly in accordance with the current document of the foreign
citizen.

When the form is filled in, put a tick next to the message “I confirm the accuracy of the data
provided and I am notified that the provision of false data causes the invalid results of services” and
click “Next” (Pic. 6).

If all required fields are filled in correctly, proceed to Step 2 “Sign the application”.

Sign the application with your EDS key. You must select the certificate to sign with the prefix
GOST - if you are a legal entity, or a certificate with the prefix RSA - if you are an individual.

Choose the certificate, enter the password and press “Sign” (Figure. 7).

Next, proceed to Step 3 “Pay state duty” (Pic. 8).

ATTENTION!
According to article 514 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 12.05.2001, the
paid amount of consular fees are not returned; the visa does not provide a full guarantee for entry
into the Republic of Kazakhstan and if the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan refuse
to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan, the paid amounts are not returned.

next – enter your bank card details and press “To pay” (Pic. 10, 11).

Important! After clicking “To pay” – it is necessary to wait for the server response (Pic. 11).

After the transaction is successful, an electronic receipt will be available to you (Pic. 12) which
you can also print or view in your personal account, in the “Invitations” section (Pic. 13).

After the positive response from the bank about the successful payment, you can print the receipt
and go to your Personal account.

Next, you go to Step 4 “Result” (Pic. 14).

Your invitation has been sent to the migration service for consideration. The status of the
invitation in your account after successful payment will be “Under consideration. Payment is made”
(Pic. 15).

Attention! If the funds from the payment card are withdrawn, but the status «In processing.
Payment not done», you must click on the button “Update status ”(Pic. 16). The status should change to
“Under consideration. Payment completed” after processing the payment. This will mean that the
invitation has been sent for review.

As a result of consideration of the application you will be sent a notification on change of the
status of consideration of the invitation (Pic. 17).

As a result of consideration of the application, the status of the invitation in the personal account
can be “Approved” or “Not approved” (Pic. 18).
To view the printed form, click on the “Help” link to download the result in pdf format (Fig.18).

If the status of the invitation is “Approved”, the printed form of the invitation with the registration
number will be available (Pic. 19).

To save the invitation, click the “Print” button (Pic. 19).


Next, select “Save as PD”" and click save (Pic. 20).

Specify the path and name of the file and click “Save” (Pic. 21).

The printed form will be saved in the specified folder.

An approved invitation must be sent to a foreigner to issue a visa.


To send an invitation to the foreigner's e-mail, click the “Send” button (Pic. 22).

You must enter the e-mail address of the foreigner to send the invitation (Pic. 23).

A notification with a pdf file of the invitation will be sent to the specified e-mail (Pic. 24).

If the status of the invitation is “Not approved”, a printed form with a reasoned refusal will be
available (Pic. 25).
