This office has issued instructions regarding the conduct of Departmental Promotion
Committees (DPCs) for vacancies that arose before the reclassification of Nursing and
paramedical posts to Group ‘B’/’A’ respectively.

All Regional Directors are requested to initiate the DPC process in a timely manner and
complete it by December 31, 2023.

The DPCs should be conducted for all eligible Group ‘A’&’B’ Nursing Cadre employees
and Group ' B' paramedical cadre employees against vacancies that arose before the date of
notification of the revised recruitment regulation reclassifying them to their respective
Group ‘B’/’A’ erstwhile Group ‘C’. Once the DPCs are completed, the proposals should be
sent to the ESIC Headquarters.

If the DPCs have already been completed by the Regions, then complete reports and
the respective Seniority Lists should be updated and submitted to Headquarters by
5th Jan 2024 without fail for draft preparation of "All India Seniority Lists" in the
above cadres.
