I ask for help to clean the room

She says “No! I’ll be back soon.”

I tell her sit and watch the moon.
She runs and sits to watch cartoon.

She worries me this naughty child

And puzzles me all the while.
Will she learn to be a dear?
Or continue to be like a grizzly bear?

She’s sometimes kind and helpful though.

She’ll work so hard she’ll win the show.
You wouldn’t hear an uttered no.
The only times we love her so.

She is young with time to grow.

I hope this phase will one day go.
And no more a wicked child she’ll be.
Then, she will become my little angel, you’ll see.
