Pat Garrard wrote about conspiracies and pending
calamities in a way that would send you running to your
bomb shelter, pausing only long enough to mail your order
card and grab your gold bullion. This package proved to be
dynamite to certain kinds of investment and opportunity-
seeker lists, while a more conventional package remained
our control to more mainstream lists – our first experience
with having separate control packages for different list
universes.
