Summary

Opening- Good afternoon everyone, My name is Rahatul Ashafeen and I am head product in KM. I
next 3-4 minutes I will brief you about new business strategy which Kaiser motorcycle can adopt and
can get same fame which we enjoyed in 1975-2000 era and wants to take this Board approval for
switching to EV bikes from traditional bikes. This is the new bright future of India as well as for KM.
Body- No matter whether we accept it or not, we are continuously losing the market as our USP of
design focus motorcycle are too costly and have been replaced with highly demanded and budget
friendly bikes like Yamaha, Harley Davidson Hyosing etc. We also tried to enter in low-cost market
but response was Luke worm due already captured market by competitor. Instead of fighting a lost
battle with already emerged competitors its time to transform our bike DNA into Electric bikes. So
practically we don’t have high cost or low cost market due to more focus on flexibility rather than
cost.
But Game is no over, We all know due to increase in pollution and depletion of natural resources,
classic petrol diesel bikes have no big future. Even if somehow, we get successful in our current
market scenario we won’t be able to stand in long term basis. As a experienced professional in Indian
auto motive sector I can tell you Indian market is dynamics and cost sensitive, if we switch to EV
bikes with low prices segment initially we would be able to grab the market with no strong
competitors as research is still going on. Also EV market has seen growth from 2020 to 2021 about
471% and from 2021 to 2022 about 305%.
Now there are two major challenges 1 Research and 2 Cost.
For research side, I have already conducted some research on EV technology and created a protype.
When we tested it in market, results were promising. We should give a chance to this new change as
in past as well our idea was different, and we got successful.
For low operation cost side, if we strengthened our Procurement and finance department, we could
reduce our operational cost by 20%. We have advantage of Kaiser brand value and employees are
highly motivated. Currently government regulations are supporting which will help us to reduce our
cost of production and enable us to make a low-cost EV bike. Also, I also got to know that some
companies are giving 50% price incentive on buying EV bikes.
Summary- As per Market test and research I can give you assurance that this idea will be a game
changer and will boost our business growth and profits. I believe you all miss the old successful era
of KM, but we are united and zestful even now. Let’s move forward this EV proposal and show the
flamboyant E- Kaiser to world and get the lost fame back.
