Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which if not avoided, will result in death or serious
injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate
injury, or may cause machine damage.
- Do not use power supply voltage other than 24 VDC, otherwise fire or electric shock may result.
- Do not touch any component of the system with wet hand when the system is energized, otherwise
electrical shock may result.
- Do not touch any electric terminal of the energized system, otherwise electric shock may result.
- If the product produces smoke or a nasty smell, shut down the power supply immediately. If power supply
is not shut down, fire may result.
- Do not put in liquid or foreign body inside the equipment.
Fire or electrical shock or malfunction of product may result.
- Do not use a spray of flammable liquid near the equipment, otherwise fire or electrical shock may result.
- Do not modify the product. Fire or electrical shock or malfunction of product may result.
- Do not open the FG wire of energized product. (Make sure to ground it.) There is a danger of electrical
shock.
- Do not perform insulation resistance test or high voltage test on the product.
Electric/electronics components may be damaged, and then fire or electrical shock may result.
- Make sure to shut down the power supply before installation, wiring, replacing or maintenance for the
product.
If such a work is performed on energized product, fire or electrical shock or malfunction of product may
result.
danger of causing an electrical shock, malfunction, or failure of the system.
- When the product is unpacked, perform visual check. Do not use any damaged or deformed components.
There is a danger of causing fire, malfunction or failure of the system.
- Check the wiring and installation of the components. Improper wiring or loose screws for installation will
cause fire, fall, failure, error malfunction, an accident due to failing components, malfunction and failure
of the system.
- Do not allow dust, piece of wire or iron powder enters the product.
It can cause fire, accident, malfunction or failure of the system.
- Hold the plug of the cable when removing a cable from an outlet. (if applicable)
Otherwise the cable may be destroyed and then fire or failure of system may result.
- If the surface of product got dirty, wipe the dirt gently off the surface with dry cloth. If the dirt is hard to
wipe off, shut down the power supply of the product. Soak the cloth in mild detergent diluted with water
and wring it securely. Wipe dirt off with the cloth and clean the surface of product again with cloth
moistened with water. And then, dry the wiped area completely and energize the product. Be aware that
in cleaning the product, use of chemicals may result in deterioration and/or peeling of the coating
painting.
- If the display area got dirty, clean the display with soft cloth. If the display is severely contaminated,
clean it as follows:
Shut down the power supply; Soak a cloth in mild detergent diluted with water; Wring it securely; Wipe
dirt off with the cloth; Clean the wiped area again with a cloth moistened with water; Dry the wiped area
completely; and energize the product. Be aware that in cleaning the display, using chemicals such as
thinner or benzene may result in discoloration or deformation of the display. Using a chemical cloth in
cleaning may also cause a similar result.
- Do not push the display, using a sharp tip tool. This could cause a damage or failure.
- Do not connect any other product not specified to the product, otherwise malfunction of product may
result.
- When opening or closing the front panel, care so that your fingers are not pinched in the front panel.
- When opening the front panel, be sure to support the panel and then unlock the screws on the top,
otherwise it may open by its own weight.
- Do not apply pressure to the LCD panel, otherwise damage or malfunction of product may result.
- Do not use walkie-talkies when the front panel is opened, otherwise the product may malfunction.
- When replacing internal parts, be careful not to get your hands injured by the edges of the product
casing.
- Immediately after the power is shut down, do not touch some parts of the product, including the CPUs
and power units, since these parts remain heated, otherwise you may suffer from burn.
- When replacing modules, be careful not to insert a new one into the rack improperly. Improperly inserted
module may cause a failure or malfunction.
- Do not touch the setting switches on each module, since they have been set at factory to specific setting
positions.
- For components fixed with shock-absorbing materials for transportation (used for the printer, etc.),
remove the shock-absorbing materials from them before using them.
- Do not drop or give shock to the product and/or components. The product and/or components will be
damaged or destroyed.
- Observe the rated voltage and current specified in the Operation Manual.
- Use or store the product and/or components in specified atmosphere conditions.
- When disposing of the product, follow the statute and law which are applied to a graveyard and waste.
