General
1Personal and environmental protection measures

The disposal of dangerous materials, harmful substances and potential recyclables is as

important when shutting down the system or its equipment as the replacement of individual
parts during usage.
The overview of harmful substances contained in these instructions gives information
about the components and assemblies that must be disposed of individually. The informa-
tion and graphics for disposal support the localisation of hazardous materials, harmful sub-
stances and hazardous recyclables. In addition, safety-relevant instructions for the system
are given.

The following instructions must be strictly observed when working with the MOBILETT XP
(Hybrid / Eco):

DANGER There is danger of life-threatening electrical shock and injury

when dismantling components.
Death or severe bodily injury could occur.
¹ Detailed information can be found in the “Replacement
of Parts" instructions.
¹ These instructions can be ordered from the local Sie-
mens office and should be used for all work.

DANGER High voltage! There is danger of life-threatening electrical

shock.
Capacitors that were removed from a capacitor package can
still be under high voltage for a limited amount of time (i.e.
after days or weeks).
Death or severe bodily injury could occur.
¹ Do not touch the dangerous areas or contacts of the
capacitors before they are fully discharged.
¹ After removal of capacitors, bypass their contacts per-
manently (e.g. with wire jumpers).
