REFERENCE LINES

STATIONS, WATERLINES AND BUTT LINES

Stations are dividing the aircraft in the longitudinal plane. Station 0 (zero) is a preconceived point in front of the helicopter

Waterlines divide the aircraft in a vertical plane. Waterline 0 (zero) is a preconceived point in below the helicopter

Butt lines are dividing the helicopter in a lateral plane. Butt line 0 (zero) is a longitudinal line down the centre of the helicopter

Dimensions are in millimetres and (inches).

ACCESS PROVISIONS

Each panel and door has a five character identification number (three digits followed by two letters, e.g. 111 AL). The structure of the
identification numbers for the panels and doors is as follows:

Number of the smallest zoned area where the panel is located

Primary identifier = Identifies the panel in an alphabetical sequence (front to rear, inboard to outboard, top to bottom)

Locator = Provides the location of the panel in relation to its position in the helicopter )Bottom, left, right, top, Z =internal)
