1-1
1. Description
AMNC 3i is a software application for running program and schedules you created
on a machine.
This operator's manual pertains to punching machines.

2. Features
User-friendly design and large display
O You can perform on-site tasks with simple operation, improving the productivity.
O After studying the operations in current and older AMNC software, frequently-used
functions and buttons are placed in accessible locations.
O With a large screen, characters and buttons on the display are larger and easier
to see.
O The user authentication allows you to customize the display language settings
and displays and restrict software functions.

Checking of process status with online trace

O You can see the progress of the processing at a glance with the real-time display
of the processing position.
O If a processing stops in the middle, you can restart the process from that position.

Integration with terminals of peripheral equipment

O You can operate peripheral equipment from AMNC 3i.
O Stronger integration between machines and peripheral equipment allows
comprehensive management and operation.

Network operation and maintenance

O Programs created in VPSS 3i, AP100 and Dr.ABE can be downloaded through the
network.
O Operation support software (vFactory, etc.) is supported.

1-2
3. Operation
AMNC 3i starts up and shuts down in conjunction with machines. Turn the power on

4. User authentication
Purpose of user authentication
Unique display settings for each user
You can change the display language and date format for each user. The software
also remembers the items and display orders that each user sets.

Clarification of operation privilege for each user

An operation privilege level is set for each user. This level determines which screen
operations are restricted.

Logging of user names to history data

In processing results, the operator's user name is logged for each sheet process.
The operation history logs operations by the user who is logged in, and is used for
keeping track the operations and results of his/her work.

Privilege levels
More functions are restricted as the number of level decreases.
Level Description
Level 1 Able to perform minimum operations including power on/off, zero-
return, manual operation, and automatic operation.
NOTE

O When no one is logged in, AMNC 3i imposes the Level 1 restriction

until a user logs in.

Level 2 Able to load programs, load/edit schedules, and perform setups.

You can read a program, but cannot edit or save it.
You can read processing conditions, but cannot edit them.
Level 3 Able to use all functions related to production, including
creating/editing/saving programs, saving schedules, performing
setups, and editing processing conditions.
You cannot, however, use functions related to maintenance and
management of the machine.
Level 4 Able to use functions related to maintenance and management of the
machine, in addition to all functions related to production, including
creating/editing/saving programs, saving schedule, performing setups,

operation.
Jobs can be moved between the schedule list and temporary list.
Jobs in the temporary list are not included in the setup calculation.
You can use a drag-and-drop operation or press a button to display or hide these
jobs.

Both lists support the preview mode display.
