IELTS offline payment process

Steps for Test Takers

Goto:
https://www.britishcouncil.pk/
> Click Exams > Choose IELTS

Click on:
'Register for IELTS now'

Choose between 2 payment options:

El Pay now m Pay later

Choose 'Pay Later'

to pay your IELTS fee through an
ATM or IBFT (Internal Bank Fund Transfer)

To pay via ATM, follow these steps:
II Enter your PIN
DI Select the 'Fund Transfer' option
II Select the 'To another SCB account'
(if you're using an SCB account)
II Ifselect
using another bank's account,
'Inter-bank transfer' and
then SCB
II Enter a 16-digit account number:
Your account number will be 556666
followed by the last 10 digits of your
IELTS Registration ID
Example: if your Registration ID is
A3-PK010-S-1234567, your account number
would be 5566660101234567
II Enter the IELTS fee amount
and confirm
Pay via IBFT
To pay via IBFT, follow these steps:
II Log on to online banking account
DI Select the 'Fund Transfer' option
II Select SCB as the beneficiary bank
D Enter a 16-digit account number:
Your account number will be 556666
followed by the last 10 digits of your
IELTS Registration ID
Example: if your Registration ID is
A3-PK010-S-1234567, your account number
would be 5566660101234567
II Beneficiary name must show

[I A 'Beneficiary added successfully'
message should appear
&) Transfer the IELT S fee amount,
click Confirm. A 'Transaction
Successful' message should appear
on your screen

Q. Will this payment option be activated as soon as I register so I can pay my test fee?
A. The payment option will be activated the day after you register for IELTS on our website.
Q. Can I pay my IELTS Fee through IBFT?
A. Yes, you can use the internet banking of any bank to transfer your IELTS fee.
Q. Can I pay my IELTS Fee through ATM?
A. Yes, you can use your ATM card to pay your IELTS fee through any ATM machine.
Q. What if my ATM transfer limit is below the IELTS Fee?
A. If your limit is lower, you will need to get it extended by your respective bank.
Q. Can I make a partial payment of my IELTS Fee through ATM or IBFT?
A. No. The IELTS Fee should be paid in full. Partial Payment is not allowed.
Q. Can I use a specific Bank's ATM card on a different Bank's ATM machine?
A. Yes, you can but bear in mind that some ATM machines only allow Fund Transfer if you are
using that specific bank's ATM card.
Q. Can I pay my IELTS Fee through an ATM or IBFT, using a Credit Card?
A. No. Please do not use your credit card if you are paying through IBFT/ATM.
Q. Do I need to pay any bank charges with my IELTS Fee?
A. No. You only need to pay the IELTS Fee amount as per your registration.
Q. What if my ATM / IBFT services are not working?
A. Please contact your bank.
Q. What if my 16 Digit Account number is not active?
A. Please contact the British Council Contact Centre.
Q. How can I contact British Council in case of queries?
