Google has become a famous company because of its highly regarded and innovative

employee benefits. The company is ranked among the best companies to work for worldwide

because of its unique perks. The company offers retirement plans and standard healthcare, and

what makes it unique is the offering of on-site medical staff like physical therapists and

physicians (Jones, n.d.). The company also allows employees to come with their pets to work to

deal with stress and balance work and life. Another factor that puts the company above them is

their approach to food, where all employees have access to free gourmet meals. The meals focus

on sustainability and health.

The company also provides paid sabbaticals to long-term employees to offer support,

and through this, they can engage in volunteering activities or pursue their interests. Another

factor that sets the company apart is its focus on developing employees, offering different in-

house classes covering different subjects. Continuous learning is promoted within the workforce

(Jones n.d.). Still, the company offers financial support to those who want to further their studies,

even outside company-based courses, but offers skills necessary for job performance. All the

stated factors have contributed to building the company's reputation and making it the top

employer choice.

a leading cloud-based software company. In support of personal wellness, family obligations and

volunteer activities, they offer seven days annually off, which is fully paid to their employees,

and they term this as "Ohana Time" (Mazalon, 2022). The company also supports its employees

who want to attend professional development events without considering their roles and

relevance. The company also considers the well-being of its employees. It takes it seriously

because it offers meditation and mindfulness programs, and the aim is to reduce the staff

members' stress.

In addition, the company has implemented a generous charitable matching program

where employees can contribute to nonprofit organizations of their choice and have their

donations matched. The company has also put into consideration gender equality, and this is

through extensive pay equity assessments (Mazalon, 2022). They pay the same amount for equal

work in the company. Because of the factors stated here, the company has entered the list of the

"best companies to work for." It has also reflected the commitment of the company towards

inclusivity and creating a conducive work environment.
