With dreams that sparkle, like stardust in space. I see the world through innocent eyes, As a twelve years old, where wonder never dies.
The sun shines bright, painting colours so bold,
A world of stories waiting to be told. Field of flowers, dancing in the breeze, Whispering secrets, captivating with ease.
The trees stand tall, like guardians of the land,
Their branches swaying, a beckoning hand. Birds sing melodies, a chorus so sweet, Their songs of joy, a rhythm that I meet.
The ocean waves crash, a symphony grand,
Shells and treasures hidden in the sand. I chase seagulls, with feet in the foam, As the salty breeze whispers secrets of home.
In the playground, laughter fills the air,
Swinging high, feeling weightless without a care. Friends by my side, our laughter in sync, Imagination soaring, as we build and think. The classroom’s wall, a fortress so high, Roamed by teachers, masters in disguise. They light the path for us to explore, Unleashing potential, opening doors.
Armed with knowledge, in this battlefield,
Answering quizzes and test among cliques Forever struggling, never once yield, Only one objective LP six.
Two years of absence, due to Covid
Moments of hardship, boredom and solemn, No sense of duty, unruly kid, Lost in a maze, almost forgotten.
Now friends by my side, finally laughter in the air,
In this fortress, we create memories to share. Together we learn, grow and dare, A world of friendship, beyond compare.
But beyond the wonders, there’s kindness to find,
In acts of love, a helping hand so kind. With hugs and smiles, connections are made, A world where compassion never will fade.
For in this world, with eyes full of grace,
I see reality not at its best Through the lens of a twelve years old heart, Not everyone seems to adore you at heart
And I’m telling you!
You may shoot me with your words.
I’m still standing, You may cut me with your gaze, I’m still standing, You may kill me with your act, I’m still standing And I will bloom, Following the path written by the majestic sun.
So let us cherish this magical place,
Embrace the innocence, let dreams chase. For through the eyes of a child so true, The world becomes wonder for me and you.
