For rejection client sends DHCP request with a rejection. Rejected server releases reserved configuration. Accepted server send back DHCP acknowledgment Release : Release the configuration received from the server when the client leaves the subnet. «DHCP RELEASE is used. * Period of service is fixed. If the client does not reconfirm within that duration, then the server will free the configuration.
