Africare Business Management and Ventures Limited

The story of Africare stems from a decade-old business journey with our business group. We started our
journey in healthcare with a vision to create quality, affordable healthcare which is accessible to every
Kenyan citizen. After years of dedication and persistence, our team successfully build the business we
envisioned under the brand name Bliss and Medicross. While growing up from a start-up to a successful
business, we wanted to diversify and invest in opportunities that will help millions in the flourishing
economy of Kenya. As a result, we built a pharmaceutical factory as well as a cylinder manufacturing plant
keeping in mind the self-sustainable growth agenda of the Government of Kenya.

Understanding the current healthcare requirement and the future demand which is going to be created
by a young growing population, our group is building hospital networks and healthcare financing models
to create an affordable healthcare ecosystem for Kenya. While we thrive to solve complex problems in
this journey of growth, we understand the importance of sewing our current business with global
standards of corporate governance and corporate finance to boost our enterprise value and make our
ecosystem self-sustainable. Keeping this in mind we established Africare Business Management and
Ventures Limited for creating standardized management practices across the group companies by
unifying governance and treasury functions of all the businesses which are currently run independently
by exclusive leadership teams. Africare consulting spearheaded by Group Chairman Mr. Jayesh Saini plays
active role in business planning, strategic planning, governance etc of the group companies.
