11th of May marks the day of my First break.

The day the I was waiting for which let me feel excited, and
a bit nervous. I had done lot of enjoying things during my first break which was overwhelming and crazy
as ever. One day before the d-day, I am getting ready with my things and pack them up. I wait for my
last sentinel posting as a fourth-class cadet and I stayed up all night without getting doze because of my
excitement.

The bugle of reveille just sounded and I said to myself, “This is it!”. My excitement was overflowing until
the bus came and fetch us. Since it was still amidst the pandemic days the whole town was quiet and
malls are like abandoned one. We ate in Chowking with my upper class without paying any cents
because the graduated 1CL treated us. Everything in the trip was a smooth run on the road together
with my non-scrutinizing upper class.

It’s already midnight and everyone seems to be sleeping. I came home quietly but the house became
noisy as they played the music when I entered the house. A lot of food surprised me with the banner
welcoming me at my lovely home. It was a happy moment of my life because my family really prepared
for my arrival.

In the entire duration of my break I am always with my family. We even go to the mall and I treated
them with delicious food in a cozy restaurant. I was happy and satisfied as I was able to treat them with
my own money. It was fulfilling to slowly bring back the sacrifices that my parents gave to me. During
weekdays we binged watch movie in our warm home and I really feel the love in that moment. We bond
a lot and share memories with each other. gaieties
