Writting 1 : Nguyễn Thị Duyên

Every person is born with a birthday. My birthday last year was the first
time I had a birthday party. It was a great day. I think even if I
experience many other birthday parties in the future, I won’t forget that
day. To prepare for the party, my mother and second sister went to the
supermarket together and bought decorations and food. It took us almost
a day to prepare. I invite a lot of friends. My classmates and close
friends. That day I made a buffet. The plates of fresh fruit, the dishes and
snacks are beautifully presented like a restaurant. I received a lot of
presents and birthday wishes. The party was very fun and everyone
adjusted themselves to the lyrics of the song. At 11 o’clock, everyone
started to leave. After the party ended, me and my mother and sister
cleaned up and I couldn’t stop laughing, I felt very happy and happy.
This is the first time I get the joy of birthday. I want to thank my mom
and sister for making me have a great day.

Hi, my name is Trường. Today I will tell you about favorite event. Every
year the event that I look forward to the most is Tet holiday. This is the
occasion to welcome the new year of my country and many other
countries in Asia. It is the time when everyone, all over the country, can
rest and spend the New Year with family. It’s starts at 0 o'clock on the
first day of the new year and lasts until more than a week later. On those
days, all families gather together to eat, drink, play and give each other
wishes for career, love and health... Go to visit cousins and the kids will
get lucky money from the elders. Everyone will wear colorful clothes to
bring good luck, especially red or white. I really enjoy Tet because it's a
national tradition as well as the happy time of the year. Although many
people choose to travel abroad during Tet holidays, for me, celebrating
Tet with all family members is the happiest thing.

Hello everyone, today I will write about my family's activities on

Luna New Year.
Hi my name is Quốc, I am 18 years old. I live in Nha Trang City, and
Tet holiday in the city is very bustling occasion. Within a month before
the Lunar New Year, the streets are very crowded, many people go out
to do shopping and enjoy the holiday scenery. My parents are busy
cleaning the house,  and I am busy thinking about what to wear and
where to go. Right after we have a break from school, me and my
friends spend most of the time on Nha Trang beach taking pictures.
However, Nha Trang beach is not the only beautiful place, almost
everywhere in the main streets are wonderful for people to have great
pictures. They are beautifully decorated with bright lights, and the
apricot blossom - the symbol of New Year's Day can be found
everywhere. On New Year's Eve, my family and I watch fireworks from
Square 2-4
; we have to go there before nine o’clock to get a good spot. Early in the
first morning of the year, we go to the pagoda to pray for peace and
health, and then I accompany my parents to visit my grandparents and
relatives. Tet is my favorite holiday because it is an occasion to enjoy
the festive atmosphere, delicious food, and receive lucky money. I wish
that Tet could last for a month.

The busy life of the city, people are busy with work, so there is not much
time to gather and chat. Therefore, the Lunar New Year is a day to help
people connect with each other, people temporarily stay away from daily
life and be with their families. My name is Nguyen Gia Han, today I
would like to introduce to everyone about my favorite day of the year,
which is the Lunar New Year. On these days, my family often gathers
around the tray of rice to talk, I have the opportunity to visit my
grandparents in my hometown, my grandmother teaches me how to
make cakes, and my grandfather teaches me how to play chess. The
Lunar New Year lasts for about 3 days, I usually wear the most beautiful
and brilliant clothes, and go to congratulate the elders in the family. The
most important moment of the Lunar New Year for me is receiving
lucky money. Even though I'm an adult, still receiving lucky money
makes me really excited. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, my
grandmother and mother made a lot of delicious food, so me and my
brothers eat a lot , after eating we played games until we were all
sweaty.Every year I grow a year older and realize that family times like
these are really precious. That's why I like the Lunar New Year so much,
this is the occasion when my whole big family gathers and has fun, it's
really fun, happy and warm. I love the Lunar New Year and hope the
covid 19 epidemic will pass quickly and everyone can enjoy the Lunar
New Year happy .

Birthday is an occasion of reunion and happiness. This is an occordant

opportunity to represent love affair to the one we love. My younger
sister's birthday came off on last Sunday, the day on which she turned
fifteen. She invited a large number of guests including relatives and
friends. My whole family were all busy making preparations for the
feast. The party took place outside for all the guests to enjoy fresh air in
the evening. The surrounding is covered with plenty of colorful balloons
and flashing lights. From 6 p.m the guests began to arrive one by one
because the party was to start at 7 p.m. Our family warmly welcomed
them at the gate of the house. At exact seven, all people present gathered
around the table to sing the chorus"Happy birthday to you" and clap
hands. After that my younger sister began to blow out all the candles on
the cake. It was a great chocolate birthday cake tastefully decorated with
colorful candies and cream. All the guests were served with various
candies, biscuits, fruits, cakes, beverages,... The party was full of
rejoicement and pleasure with laughters all the time. She received so
many meaningful birthday presents that she bursted into tears. After
finishing the party, the guests said goodbye to us and returned home.
Our family began to clean up and soon got to sleep. It was a hardship
day but full of cheerfulness and meaning.

Everyone is born with a birthday. This year's birthday is a special
birthday in my life for me. Because of the obstacle of the Covid
epidemic, no friends and relatives came to the party and could only
congratulate each other through the phone screen. No cake, No gifts, but
it's great because it's a fun meal with family. I think that even if I go
through many birthday parties in the future, I will not forget that day. To
prepare for the party, my mother and I went to the market together and
bought decorations and food. It took us a day to prepare. Dad and
brother took care of the decoration, and me and my mother and sister
took care of the kitchen for this party. It's been a long time since my
family had the opportunity to gather together to do common things and
talk happily. And I feel very happy to have my parents by my side. In
response to everyone's enthusiasm, I sang my favorite song for
everyone. By 9 p.m., when the party was over, I cleaned up with my
mom and sister and I still couldn't help but smile. This is the first time I
feel the joy of birthdays. I want to thank my mom and dad for helping
me have a great day.

forward to is "Tet". Every time "Tet" comes, I can go back to my

money from grandparents in VietNam it’s called “lì xì “ . Older people
give lucky money to younger people. Yeah, that’s about my favorite
