of Popodoo Smart English Center. Today I will talk about the topic TET IN
YOUR EYES. All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most. Tet is
an occasion for everyone get together in the warm atmosphere. Tet is also
an extremely important holiday for people, it is a time when they can reunite
with their families after hard days. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares
many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers like: apricot
blossom, sunflower or flower warts in front of my house and buy many
things such as clothes, foods ...
Besides, most of the streets are also decorated beautifully with colorful
lights and flowers. During Tet, on the morning of the first day of the new
year, my family together made a feast to worship our ancestor. After the
New Year's party, my family went to visit my grandparents. I spend more
time on visiting my relatives, friends and teachers. Especially, I can give other
people the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children to
receive lucky money. Receiving lucky money also has the meaning of
bringing luck at the beginning of the year and celebrating the coming of age
to children. There is also a custom where people try to avoid arguing or
saying bad things during Tet because they believe it will bring bad luck to
everyone. I love Tet holiday!
Introducing everyone, this is my lucky money envelope. On the front I drew a
branch of apricot blossom, a watermelon, a piece of watermelon and the
words 2024. On the back I decorated the words happy new year with the
