1. Now, I will tell you a story about my Tet holiday.

A few days before the holiday, my family had

prepared many things to go to house grandparents like clothes, some dried candied fruits, and
presents for our relatives. All the members of my family traveled by taxi cleaned my house tidily
and decorate it with flowers such as kumquat trees or peach blossoms. Everyone in my family
went shopping for new clothes because we want to look our best on this special day of the year.
New Year's Eve is the moment of transition between the old year and the new year. We stayed
up until 12 o'clock at night to look at fireworks, cook square glutinous rice cake, and watch
comedy programs together. During the Tet holiday, I accompanied my parents to visit my
grandparents and relatives and give their best wishes to one another. It's a good time for us to
go out and meet old friends we haven't seen for a long time. It's also a time for me to rest after
a year of hard work.
