MY ENGAGEDMENT SURPRISE

At Christmas last year I had the most beautiful experience of my life. My boyfriend decided to
propose to me in the Nueva Guadalupe park in front of many people. That same day I noticed that he
was very nervous but I didn't know what a big surprise he was doing for me.

First of all, I was at home doing my makeup and choosing the clothes that I was going to wear that
day to celebrate Christmas with our family. Second, I was with my parents, my grandparents, my
uncles and my brother because we would have a Christmas dinner at night together with my
boyfriend's family.

Then Christmas dinner night came and we shared family time. My boyfriend Osvaldo told me to go
for a walk in the park to get some fresh air. We got to the park, we walked to a water source and my
boyfriend told me to close my eyes, then when I opened them I saw a beautiful ring in his hand, he
told me, will you marry me, Mely? At that moment I felt nervous, happy, impressed, ¡I did not expect!

I had no problem thinking that I would be engaged to the love of my life. I said yes with many happy
tears in my eyes, hugged him tight and gave him a huge kiss. Finally we returned home and told our
families the news, they were very happy about our new engagement. It really was the most important
day of my life.
