1. Competition Format:

- TCS CodeVita will be conducted as a virtually open book exam.

- Students from batches 2024 & 2025are eligible to participate.

- The competition is accessible from anywhere and at any time, spanning 24 hours.

3. Exam Details:

- The competition features 8 programming languages and 6 questions.

- It begins at 3:00 PM on Friday and concludes at 3:00 PM on Saturday.

- The competition consists of three rounds: Prequalifier, Qualifier, and Finals.


4. Awards and Recognition:

- Students can earn certificates, prizes, and rewards.

- The first prize is $10,000 USD, the second prize is $7,000 USD, and the third prize is $3,000
USD.

- Top coders will receive rankings and certificates.

5. Academic Integrity:

- Students are advised to take inspiration but not to copy code from external sources.

- All competition questions are designed by top coders for real-world problems and are not
available on the internet.

- If students use any external sources, they must provide proper attribution.

7. Registration Steps:

- Login/sign in to TCS NEXT.

- Enter your email and phone number.

- Select your region based on college location.

- Provide basic details, including name and account information.

- Accept the terms and conditions.

- After completing these steps, students will receive a QR code.

- Download Microsoft Authenticator and scan the QR code for 2-step authentication.

- Verify via OTP.


8. Important Notes:

- Students are advised not to delete the authentication app until the finals. If it's deleted,
contact TCS support at campuscommune@tcs.com to regain access.

- Create only one profile; duplicate profiles are not accepted. Delete any duplicates if
created.

- Complete profiles are necessary for registration and will be automatically rejected
otherwise.

9. TCS Launch Pad:

- Registered students are encouraged to join TCS Launch Pad.

- Training sessions on programming skills and soft skills will be communicated through
email.

10. Mockvita:

- Students can utilize "Mockvita" for practicing and preparing for CodeVita.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of integrity, proper registration,
and the resources available to students for successful participation in TCS CodeVita. Further
communication and training details will be shared through email.
